Exclusive: Watch Swedish House Mafia's 'Save The World' Video Teaser

Full clip, directed by Jon Watts, premieres May 20.

Keeping with their tradition of sharing just enough to drive fans wild, the holy trinity of house music, Swedish House Mafia, have revealed a tiny glimpse of what dance-music lovers can expect from their upcoming video for "Save the World." Judging from the clip, it appears a certain amount of assault and canines are involved.

Each heavy-hitting dance-music brands in their own right, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell first previewed "Save the World" (with vocals by new artist John Martin) at their Masquerade Motel: One Night Stand in Miami over Miami Music Week back in March. Since then, the song has become easily one of the most anticipated EDM releases of the year. After all, "Save the World" follows DJ set staples "One" (featuring N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams) and "Miami 2 Ibiza" (their Billboard Dance Music #1 featuring British rapper Tinie Tempah).

The "Save the World" clip is largely comprised of three scenes: a diner attendant on a late shift, a gentleman chilling in his car and two lovely ladies walking the streets (presumably of L.A., where the video was shot). Then, weaving between each of these settings, our subjects are attacked by separate assailants. Two ski-masked goons descend upon the diner attendant, smashing his tip jar with a baseball bat. A masked attacker crowbars the driver's car window. And one of the beautiful lasses walking the streets is pulled away from her friend with a hand over her mouth.

Curiously, the teaser ends with a shot of the derriere of a dog wagging its tail. And why not? It's a teaser, after all. But fret not, SHM fans: The video should have a happy ending. After all, how could an epic sing-along in the feel-good, one-love tradition of the house-music experience end in any other fashion? In a couple of weeks, we'll know for sure.

The video for "Save the World" was directed by Jon Watts, who has also created videos for Sleigh Bells, TV on the Radio and Fatboy Slim. The full video is set to premiere May 20; the single will be available for purchase Tuesday.

Does the teaser have you hyped up for the full video? Let us know in the comments!

Lil Wayne is one of rap's most electric figures, but the Young Money star is ready to unplug. As fans gear up for the release of Weezy's long-awaited ninth studio album Tha Carter IV, the New Orleans lyricist will appear on "MTV2 Presents: Lil Wayne Unplugged."

The program, which is set to premiere across MTV2, MTV and MTV.com on Sunday, June 12 at 9 PM ET/PT, will feature Tunechi performing acoustic versions of select hits from his classic catalog.

The show will be MTV's first televised rap unplugged concert since Jay-Z's 2001 special and come 20 years after LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul appeared on the original Yo! Unplugged Rap.

With over ten million records sold, critical acclaim and adoration from the streets, Wayne, who has blurred the boundaries of rap, rock and pop, seemed like the perfect choice for the next installment in MTV's groundbreaking series.

"Lil Wayne is an amazing choice for Unplugged as he is at hip-hop's forefront — leading a new generation of artists whose appeal spans across music genres and playlists," Amy Doyle, MTV's EVP of Music and Talent, said in a statement. "Lil Wayne's skills, influence, and catalog are a powerful addition to the legacy of artists who have rocked the 'Unplugged' stage."

MTV's Unplugged concert series first debuted in 1989 and spotlighted artists like Eric Clapton, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, R.E.M., Jay-Z and Bob Dylan. Now, Lil Wayne will join the ranks of music's biggest and most iconic stars.

Lights out!

Coldplay, Led Zeppelin Album Covers Featured On New British Stamps

Album art from Pink Floyd, Blur and David Bowie also included.

On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."

Britney Spears Drops Official 'Till The World Ends' Remix

New track with Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha follows leaked version, plus Brit tweets single's cover art.
By Jocelyn Vena

Just days after it was leaked on Friday, Britney Spears and her femme fatales, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, dropped their official remix of "Till the World Ends."

The new version of the song was produced by Dr. Luke and Dream Machine. Brit half-whispers " 'Till the World Ends' remix" before the beat kicks in and Nicki hits her verse hard. She spits fierce lines like, "Sniff, sniff, cries/ I done slayed your whole entire f---ing life."

Then Britney's sex-kitten vocals kick in for the song's first verse. "That's Britney, bitch! I'm Nicki Minaj and that's Ke$ha," the Queens MC declares before K sings the chorus. The beat is harder, the loops are sassier and the song is grimier than the original version, which was the second single from Femme Fatale. The newly added dubstep portion takes the one from "Hold It Against Me" to a new level by adding in bass-heavy synths.

Ke$ha, of course, wrote the track for Britney, and the ladies certainly don't seem to mind sharing the spotlight with each other. The official track isn't much different than the version that leaked over the weekend, though Spears did have something brand-new to share with her fans just as the song dropped on iTunes and streamed on her website.

Spears tweeted the artwork for the single, which features the original press photo of Spears along with separate photos of Nicki on the left and Ke$ha on the right. Spears wrote, "@NickiMinaj @Keshasuxx Too much fierceness for one cover! Thanks for lending your voices girls... #TTWEREMIX — Brit"

Spears and Minaj have been hanging out a lot in the lead-up to their summer tour. They hung out at the Factory nightclub on Friday night after Minaj's show in Los Angeles. Spears later wrote, "Early rehearsal after a late night with my girl @NickiMinaj. Can't WAIT to get out on the road with you."

Lindsay Lohan Pleads No Contest To Jewelry Theft

Troubled actress wasn't present in court Wednesday.

Though Lindsay Lohan did not make the scene in one of her typical splashy court frocks, her lawyer entered a plea of no contest on behalf of the troubled actress Wednesday (May 11) in Los Angeles, possibly ending the latest chapter in the "Mean Girls" star's drama-filled offscreen life.

The plea was in connection with a jewelry-theft case in which Lohan was accused of walking out of a Venice, California, store with a necklace valued at $2,500. Lohan had been sentenced to 120 days in jail as well as 480 hours of community service last month by Judge Stephanie Sautner for violating her probation from a 2007 drunk-driving charge. The judge ruled that Lohan had violated the terms of her probation in that case by wearing the gold necklace out of the store in January and failing to return it.

The bulk of the community service (360 hours) — which Lohan has already begun — will be done at the Downtown Women's Center, and the remaining 120 hours will be at the L.A. County Morgue. In a big break for Lohan, once she has completed the 60 days of community service, her probation in the original DUI case will be terminated and she may be allowed to serve the 120-day sentence at home with an electronic monitoring device on her ankle. However, she will now be on probation for three years on the theft charge.

Given the realities of the chronically overcrowded Los Angeles jail system, TMZ reported that Lohan's actual sentence will likely amount to around 17 days. Lohan is slated to turn herself in on Tuesday to face booking in the case, and at that time, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department will determine if she's eligible for home detention.

Court officials and Lohan's lawyer stressed that the actress did not get any special treatment, but rather the same consideration that anyone with her criminal history would have gotten.

Lohan gambled and rejected a plea deal in March that would have sent her to jail for 90 days in favor of having her day in court. She pleaded not guilty in March to charges that she stole the necklace; the original felony grand theft charge was eventually reduced to a misdemeanor. Had the felony charge stuck, Lohan would have been looking at a potential sentence of three years in prison.

During the hearing, Sautner said she doesn't think Lohan's problem is substance abuse, but rather stems from the actress self-medicating to deal with the stress of her problems, which is why she didn't not order the actress to undergo any further substance-abuse counseling. She does, however, have to undergo psychological counseling and shoplifters alternative classes. She was also ordered to not go within 100 feet of the jewelry store.
