Having previously revealed her decision to "take a break" from studies at Brown University, Emma Watson has now confirmed that she has opted to withdraw from the Ivy League institution completely.
While rumors that she was a victim of bullying have been adamantly denied, a spokeswoman has told that the "Harry Potter" actress made the move to "pursue a different course not offered by the school."
Emma first began her collegiate career back in fall 2009, but will now take her educational efforts elsewhere - with no new school being named thus far.
The news of her Brown departure comes shortly after Miss Watson celebrated her 21st birthday on April 15th, as she told fans in a video posting: ?Just a quick message to say thank you for all the Birthday wishes and gifts you?ve sent. I?m continually overwhelmed by the support from you all. It means so much to me, so thank you very much."
She added, "Turning 21 is a significant occasion for everyone, and it?s proved to be quite a milestone.?

'I haven't really had that moment of remorse or blues,' he tells MTV News of still shooting final film.

Earlier this week, MTV News learned of an exciting "Twilight" and "American Idol" mash-up between Peter Facinelli and "Idol" castoff Paul McDonald on the "Loosies" soundtrack. Naturally, we couldn't let Facinelli hang up the phone until we addressed another important subject matter: "Breaking Dawn."
Unlike co-star Robert Pattinson, Facinelli has yet to wrap his work on the "Twilight" saga.
"I still have another two weeks of second-unit stunt work, so for me, it doesn't feel quite done yet," he said. "I haven't really had that moment of remorse or blues, you know, the blues of finishing. I'm in the midst of still finishing myself."
Regarding a few key scenes that his co-stars have mentioned — specifically the Taylor Lautner vs. Kristen Stewart fight scene — Facinelli agreed that seeing the much smaller Stewart take on Lautner was entertaining.
"Oh yes, I was there for that," he said. "[It was] very funny. ... But you have to kick his butt a little bit," Facinelli added about the idea of Lautner's character Jacob imprinting on Bella and Edward's daughter Renesmee.
Although he couldn't go into too much detail, we asked Facinelli to describe the heavily hyped wedding scene for us.
"Beautiful and spectacular," he said. "It's funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on 'Twilight' [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from 'Twilight'], and it was raining. But you never see it on film," he said of the filmmaking crew's movie magic. "With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you'll never see it on film, they block out the rain. They put tarps up and you'll never see it. But for us, it was very wet and muddy and cold."

Coldplay's new British stamps
Photo: Royal Mail
On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.
The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.
Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.
"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."
Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."
"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."

MTV's first digital awards show, the O Music Awards, is shaping up to be quite the event.
Just ask rapper Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege. The MC, who is one-half of the Philly-based rap group Chiddy Bang, will attempt to secure the Guinness World Records title for "Longest Freestyle Rap" in conjunction with the online broadcast. The current record is for nine hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds and is held by a rapper named M-Eighty out of Indianapolis.
Chiddy has never timed himself while rapping, but he remains confident. "I just gotta get a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast," he said. "The rest should just be history. We're just gonna try to make it and break it at the same time."
Xaphoon Jones, the group's other member and producer, will provide the beats for his partner to rhyme to. "We're just gonna basically have, like, two hours worth of instrumentals that my boy Xaph made," said Chiddy, who will then put that custom-made playlist on a continuous loop.
The rapper also hopes to get an assist from his fans via Twitter, who can send the MC topics to rhyme about using the hashtag .
"I will need the help from the fans, anybody that supports me on Twitter, or just supports the group in general, send some topics in," Chiddy said. "As the freestyle is going on, people can be able to send topics through. That will definitely help a great deal as long as there is a steady stream of things to draw from."
The inaugural O Music Awards will stream live from Las Vegas at 11 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. PT Thursday on OMusicAwards.com. Tune in to see who will reign supreme in categories like Most Viral Dance, Funniest Music Short and NSFW Music Video!

After months of rumors and speculation, "The Dark Knight Rises" has officially named two more members to its already-impressive cast: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard. Both actors have long been assumed to have joined Christopher Nolan's third highly anticipated "Batman" film, but were not confirmed in an official capacity.
According to the announcement from Warner Bros., Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. Cotillard will appear as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham.
Curiously enough, both characters are brand-new to the world of the Caped Crusader: They did not appear in the DC comic upon which the film and character are based.
Nolan, who worked with Gordon-Levitt and Cotillard on last summer's blockbuster "Inception," said about the film's new additions, "When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again."
"The Dark Knight Rises" is set to begin production soon in Pittsburgh, a departure from Chicago, the setting used for Gotham in Nolan's "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." Gordon-Levitt and Cotillard join recently added actors Diego Klattenhoff, Daniel Sunjata, Ben Gorman, Josh Pence and Juno Temple, in addition to fellow "Batman" newcomers Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy.

Kirstie Alley's stint on Season 12 of Dancing with the Stars has not only done wonders for her confidence, but it's done a lot of good for her body, as well! The 60-year-old actress, who has publicly battled with her weight, says her pants size continues to shrink with every week she remains on the show.
"I started out in a size 12, then an 8, and then I think next week I'll be in a 6," she said after her performance Monday night (pictured here). "The real size I want to be in is probably a 4 or a 6. That's where I look best."
In addition to Dancing, Kirstie follows her newly created Organic Liaison weight loss program, which she'll debut on QVC Saturday at 11 a.m. EST.
Alley, who once danced on Oprah Winfrey's stage in a bikini after losing 75 lbs., hinted that she might make a return appearance to the talk show maven's studio to show off her body again.
"There aren't that many Oprah shows left, but you never know," she teased. "It's whittling fast, and I'm dancing every day. Who knows?"
