'This is a family affair, man,' Wiz tells MTV News while shooting a clip for his upcoming stoner comedy with Snoop.

MONTCLAIR, California -- Big Snoop D-O-Double-G celebrates his 40th birthday Thursday (October 20), but on Wednesday night, he was all business.
Well, business as usual. Snoop spent the evening shooting a music video with Wiz Khalifa for the track "Young, Wild & Free." It's the first song from the soundtrack of the duo's upcoming stoner comedy, "Mac & Devin Go to High School."
It was quite a spectacle on the video set. The mellow MCs took over a drive-in movie theater an hour outside Los Angeles with tons of tricked-out rides and a variety of video vixens. The clip was directed by Dylan Brown, who also handled directing duties on the film.
"This is a family affair, man," Wiz told MTV News. "Everybody that you see was all involved with the project. We all got love for each other, and you know, we just keeping it moving, right?"
"Yeah that's all," Snoop added. "We just having fun. We at a big drive-in theater so we could have as many people and have as many things happen as possible in the celebration of being young, wild, and free -- having a good time."
And clearly they were having a good time. One scene saw Snoop and Wiz romping around the parking lot in some souped-up off-road karts, loaded with a crew of cuties.
"That's definitely going along with the theme of being young, wild, and free -- just having fun, wild'n out," Wiz said. "The whole theme of the video, we just getting it crackin' in the parking lot, man, just turning this thing out. So we had a couple little of our friends in the car, and we drove fast."
"I had to level out the playing field," Snoop admitted, with his kart holding a few extra girls than Wiz's. "I had to have some, ahem, weight issues, so I had to have some girls roll with me to level out my car."
If you're wondering how this whole scene ties into the high school flick, the Doggfather has you covered.
"We got some more party scenes where we just gonna be doing our verses and having the scenes from the movie play on the big screen from the actual movie 'Mac & Devin Go to High School,' " Snoop said. "So people get a chance to see a few scenes and see us perform at the same time."
The song itself got production help from Bruno Mars and quickly came together.
"[Bruno Mars] sent me the music and I played the music for Wiz and he loved it and we came together," Snoop said. "That's what we do: We make good music. If you've got a great idea, which was started by Bruno, and me and Wiz, we take it to the next level, gave it back to Bruno. He tightened up the edges, and now it's a complete situation."
Look for the soundtrack in December, just in time for the holiday season, followed by the film's release in February.

Natalie Portman carried her son, Aleph Millepied, as the pair left a friend's home in Hollywood today. The Millepied-Portmans have been spending time on the West Coast after some recent travels in Europe. Natalie, Benjamin, and Aleph explored both Paris and Geneva in September. The trio dined out together and visited museums in the City of Lights before heading to Switzerland, where Benjamin worked on choreography for the National Geneva Theater.
Despite being back in LA, Natalie didn't make the scene at last weekend's Scream Awards, where she won best fantasy actress for her role in Black Swan. The film not only earned her professional accolades across the board last award season, but introduced her to her now-fiancé Benjamin. Natalie's absence at the ceremony was in keeping with her decision to largely stay out of the public eye since Aleph was born in June. In fact, the Oscar winner has reportedly even turned down some film offers in favor of focusing on her latest role as a mom.
My sister recently had a talk with my four-year-old nephew Jack about strangers. Here's how it went:
SISTER: Now, Jack, if a stranger says, "Come here, I want to show you something," what do you do?
JACK: I turn around and run!
SISTER: If a stranger says, "Come here, I want to give you some candy," what do you do?
JACK: I turn around and run!
SISTER: If a stranger says, "Come here, I want to show you my puppy," what do you do?
JACK: Oh, I love puppies...

'I'm trying to create a new sound,' Bieber tells MTV News about follow-up to My World 2.0, due 'early next year.'
By James Montgomery
It seems sort of odd to talk about Justin Bieber's next album, given that his new album — the holiday-riffic Under the Mistletoe — doesn't hit stores until November 1.
But, when MTV News caught up with Bieber this past weekend in Santiago, Chile — where he was wrapping up his two-year My World Tour in record-setting fashion — he was more than ready to start discussing the follow-up to his massive My World 2.0 album, mostly because he's been hard at work on it for a while now, and the finish line is definitely in sight.
"What's happening is: get off this tour, and then my [holiday] album's coming out, so I have to go back out and promote that album ... and then after that ... it's almost time for my next album, so then everything starts over again," Bieber told us. "We've already started [working on it], but we're going to be going in every day and working with new people and trying to find the best sound, because I'm going to be recording different styles, different things until I find a solid 15 songs that I love. ... I'm going to be recording as many songs as I possibly can."

As for the release date for the new album, Bieber doesn't know specifics just yet, but he promised it'll be out "soon ... early next year." For fans seeking a sneak peek at the next step in his musical evolution, they've only got to check out his recent remix of Drake's "Trust Issues."
"I loved the song; I thought it was a dope song. I actually cover it in my concert," he said. "I'm going to mature; I'm going to evolve. I don't feel like I'm going to do it too fast or too slow: I'm going to do it at the pace that I feel comfortable doing it."
Of course, that's just one direction he's hoping to head in. Because, first and foremost, Bieber said that on his next album, he's looking to create something entirely new, while still maintaining a connection to his past.
"I'm trying to create a new sound that people aren't really used to hearing, so it might sound weird at first, but it's going to be like when Justin Timberlake did FutureSex/LoveSounds: It was a new sound ... acoustic guitar over hard drums," he explained. "I want to find something that's going to suit me and my fans are going to love and older people will like and younger people will like. But I'm always trying to keep my core fanbase, because the young people are what make everything cool. Old people look to young people, so trying to keep everyone happy."
