If you're a Miley Cyrus fan, here's some news that's "like, prit-tay cool!"

The 18-year-old singer/actress is slated to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time on March 5, People.com has confirmed. Unlike some previous genre-spanning celebs who have hosted the sketch-comedy show such as Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Lopez, though, Cyrus won't pull double duty as the evening's musical guest. There's no word yet on who will provide the musical entertainment on the episode.

The teenage phenom has been something of a fixture on "SNL" over the past season, with new castmember Vanessa Bayer's dead-on impersonation of the "Hannah Montana" star in the sketch "The Miley Cyrus Show" seen semi-regularly on the late-night program.

In it, Bayer — joined by Jason Sudeikis as her overly eager dad, Billy Ray Cyrus — portrays Miley as she interviews other celebrities while often interjecting her own stories and expressing that everything is, well, "pretty cool."

Cyrus — who has two upcoming comedy films, "So Undercover" and "LOL," in the works — has also been the butt of some jokes because of her now-infamous bong/salvia-smoking moment, which was all caught on tape and posted online in December 2010.

The teen sensation has since addressed the incident, admitting in a recent Marie Claire cover story, "For me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."

In addition to the "SNL" hosting gig in three weeks, Cyrus will appear at Sunday night's Grammy Awards as a presenter.

How do you think Miley will do as "SNL" host? Tell us in the comments.

Justin Bieber Vintage Video: 'I Love Twitter'

'My fans have made me a trending topic every day,' Bieber marvels to MTV News in April 2010.

In April 2010, Justin Bieber sat down with MTV News to dish about his devoted fanbase. His Beliebers, at the time, were keeping him at the top of the Twitter trends daily. Those fans were the ones who believed in him before he became the megastar he is today.

When he sat down with us all those months ago, Bieber seemed grateful for their love and support.

"They make me a trending topic on Twitter every day," Bieber marveled. "It's pretty incredible. My fans have made me a trending topic every day. I don't think there's been a day in the past month that I haven't. So it's pretty incredible."

The singer — who is still one of the most devout celeb users of the social-networking site — said he loved using the site to stay connected to his fans. "I love Twitter," Bieber said. "I use it for being able to interact with my fans as well as promote stuff."

To this day, Bieber frequently tweets and retweets messages for his fans, noting that there's no science as to who he picks. "It just depends. It's kind of, like, it's random," he said. "It's not really anyone specifically. It's just kind of a random thing.

"They're like, 'I never thought you were gonna respond!' " he added. "And I say, 'You thought wrong.' "

On Friday, Justin Bieber's 3-D documentary, "Never Say Never," opens. The film takes a look at how the teen star worked to hit it big. MTV News has been chatting with him along the way, from the time he first burst on the scene in 2009 until now, as he embarks on a huge 2011 that will include a tour and more new music.

Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller File Final Divorce Papers

Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller File Final Divorce Papers

The papers are in, and Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are well on their way to putting their marriage behind them.

The couple filed their final divorce papers in a L.A. County Superior Court Thursday, just two weeks after Sheen was rushed to the hospital with stomach pains following his drugs and porn bender.

Under California law, a divorce can't be granted until six months after papers are filed, so the twosome will be officially divorced May 2. According to divorce settlement documents, the pair will share joint custody of their 22-month-old twins Bob and Max, with Mueller having primary physical custody.

Mueller will receive a lump sum of $757,698.70, along with $1 million for her share of the family home, which Sheen will continue to live in, and $55,000 a month in child support.

According to the settlement, "Under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to Denise Richards for Sam and Lola."

Justin Bieber Vs. Drake: Best New Artist Grammy Cheat Sheet

Florence and the Machine, Mumford & Sons and Esperanza Spalding are also in the running at Sunday's show.

Every year, a new crop of up-and-comers duke it out for the Best New Artist prize at the Grammys. Before the big show kicks off Sunday night, get to know each of the nominees in the coveted category.

Justin Bieber
In 2010, Bieber presented at the Grammy Awards, and now he returns this year as a two-time nominee and performer. He released two albums last year; hit the road, selling out venues at every stop; and managed to not only become the teenage dream, but also find creditability in the world of hip-hop, thanks to collabos with MCs like Ludacris and Kanye West.

Drake
Drake quickly emerged in 2010 as the go-to MC for hip-hop heads and teenyboppers. He asked fans to Thank Me Later on his debut album, on which he rapped about girls, fame and himself. Drake showed that he had some street cred and a lot of heart on the album.

Florence and the Machine
Florence Welch emerged as rock newcomer of the year with her inescapable hit "Dog Days Are Over." The flame-haired songstress belted out tunes that had fans worshipping at her musical temple, especially after her electric performance at the Video Music Awards. Her 2009 album, Lungs, proved to have some legs when "Dog Days Are Over" took Hollywood by storm and also top 40 stations.

Mumford & Sons
Their album Sigh No More (released in 2009) flew under the radar for some time, before their Grammy-nominated song "Little Lion Man" launched them into the mainstream last year. In addition to the Best New Artist nod, the tune is also up for Best Rock Song, thanks to the English group's sparse, folky approach to making music.

Esperanza Spalding
Like Mumford & Sons, Spalding has been releasing music for years. In 2010, Prince announced she'd be one of the many artists hitting the road with him for a leg of the Welcome 2 America Tour. Now, she's poised to reach even more audiences thanks to the Grammy nod.

Who do you think will win Best New Artist on Sunday? Tell us in the comments!

Michael Jackson Doctor Pleads Not Guilty To Involuntary Manslaughter

Conrad Murray's trial slated to start March 28.

Michael Jackson's former personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray entered a plea of not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of the pop star at his arraignment on Tuesday morning (January 25).

According to the Los Angeles Times, when asked by judge Michael Pastor how he pleaded to the charge, Murray said, "Your honor, I am an innocent man." When Pastor interrupted and asked Murray what his plea was, the cardiologist said, "Therefore, I plead not guilty."

The brief hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court ended with Pastor setting a March 28 date for the start of a trial in the case. Murray faces a maximum of four years in prison if convicted, and the Times noted that he surprised the judge by invoking his right to a speedy trial, which meant the case would have to begin by late March. Pastor noted the rarity of a defendant asking to have a speedy trial, then set jury selection for the week of March 28 and said he was inclined to allow television coverage of the trial that the defense expects will last two months.

Lawyers for Murray have maintained his innocence all along, saying he did not do anything that "should have" caused the 50-year-old pop icon's death. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office determined that Jackson died of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol mixed with a cocktail of other sedatives.

Murray has admitted to administering propofol to Jackson in the hours before the singer's death, but the defense appears to be gearing up to claim that it was Jackson who administered the final, fatal dose of the drug after he woke in a panic from a fitful night of sleep.

During a preliminary hearing earlier this month to determine if there was enough evidence to hold Murray over for trial, the physician's attorneys said that there was evidence Jackson injected or drank a fatal amount of the drug when the doctor was not looking.

VIDEO: Hate It or Love It? Stars Dish on Valentine's Day!

Whether candy hearts and red roses make you swoon or make you sick, you're not alone! With Valentine's Day approaching, we asked the stars to dish on the holiday -- and their feelings and memories range from sweet (like Natalie Portman) to slightly cynical (like Dave Matthews).

Oscar nominee and mom-to-be Portman has an unforgettable memory from her past -- although she's a little embarrassed to share it. "Someone once brought me cupcakes from eight hours away because they knew how much I liked them -- which made me feel like i was really piggy," the actress tells iVillage exclusively. "They knew the one thing that would get me really excited was these specific cupcakes from this particular bakery."

It seems Private Practice star Kate Walsh has had some sweet suitors, too. "The gentlemen of the world have always done pretty well by me for Valentine's Day," she says with a laugh.

For Ashton Kutcher, a Valentine's trip to the City of Light with wife Demi Moore remains emblazoned in his mind. "Last year we were in Paris and we actually went out to dinner,"  he explains. "And then afterwards we went out and looked at the window displays in all the shops."

But some people just aren't into the over-the-top mushiness of the holiday -- especially Dave Matthews. "I like the love," the singer-actor says. "But Valentine's Day can bite me!"

Watch our exclusive video interview (above) to hear Valentine's Day memories from Seth Rogen, Brooklyn Decker and more!

Lady Gaga Reveals She's Called Stefani By Lovers

Lady Gaga didn't hold back in her "60 Minutes" interview, which is set to air Sunday. During her chat with Anderson Cooper, Gaga opened up about her stage name and revealed that some people still call her by her given name, Stefani.

"Yeah, some people do. Especially in bed," she said. The New York native laughed off Cooper's follow-up statement, according to New York's Daily News.

"You don't want somebody yelling out 'Lady Gaga,' " Cooper replied.

"No. That would freak me out," the singer said.

During the interview, Gaga attempted to take Cooper to her old apartment, but things did not go as planned. Gaga tried to enter her former building by pressing all of the buttons, hoping someone would buzz her in. "We're going to do it the New York way ... someone will listen," she said.

While they did get inside the building, the current tenant in Gaga's old studio declined to open the door because of the "60 Minutes" camera crew.

The Daily News found the woman now living in the apartment, and she explained why she didn't let the superstar in. "I had the flu," Emily Ting told the newspaper. "I didn't want to have cameras inside. I love Anderson Cooper. He is very handsome. His hair is so gray and wonderful. She's great. I've definitely danced to some of her songs."

Not only did Gaga and Cooper spend time in the singer's hometown, they also met up in London for the segment. Gaga's "60 Minutes" interview airs Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, right before the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, where she's set to perform and is up for six awards.
