Steven Tyler's Best 'American Idol' Quotes From New Orleans

'From my melodic sensibility, it was really delicious,' new judge tells one contestant.

Night number two of "American Idol" season 10 was shorter than the first, but just as sweet, particularly if you are a fan of new judge Steven Tyler.

The unpredictability and wackiness of the Aerosmith frontman is quickly becoming one of the most entertaining aspects of the show. "Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe recently told MTV News that Tyler will be on a tape delay when the show goes live, but even though he is already bleeped out accordingly during these first few weeks of audition rounds, his unique commentary and compliments deserve a recap of their own.

So without further ado, here are Thursday night's (January 20) top Tyler-isms:

» "You know what they say about a little hat?" Tyler asked to camera, wearing a tiny black top hat. "Little [bleep]." (We have no idea what he said, but because it was bleeped out by Fox, it had to be good/dirty, right?)

» "It's not cold; it was the warmth of his voice," Tyler said of the evening's first contestant to fellow judge Jennifer Lopez, who complained of getting goose bumps from the audition and the actual chill in the room.

» "Where did you get those lips?" he asked one young lady, followed by, "You had me sold from the second you laid eyes on me. Wait ... "

» "From my melodic sensibility, it was really delicious," he enthused after one performance. "I really liked your voice."

» "Yes." (Responding to a query as to whether he was familiar Mick Jagger's mouth.)

» "The sparkle in your eye is like, forget about it," Tyler said to a baby-face 15-year-old hopeful. "Looking at you, I'm closing my eyes and it's a work of art, a thing of beauty ... and I will finish that off with a double helping of ooh-yeah."

Coldplay, Led Zeppelin Album Covers Featured On New British Stamps

Album art from Pink Floyd, Blur and David Bowie also included.

On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed, Led Zeppelin's IV, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells, The Clash's London Calling, New Order's Power, Corruption and Lies, Primal Scream's Screamadelica, Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, Blur's Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."

Kim Kardashian Blames 'Teen Mom' for Teen Pregnancy Epidemic

Kim Kardashian Blames 'Teen Mom' for Teen Pregnancy Epidemic

Kim Kardashian is taking issue with MTV's Teen Mom, calling the show "disturbing" and wondering about its effect on the young girls who watch.

She even went so far as to insinuate that the reality show could be a contributing factor to the recent teen pregnancy epidemic at a high school in Memphis. Currently at Frayser High School, an astonishing 90 girls are either pregnant or have had a baby within the last year.

"Does the show Teen Mom disturb anyone else?" she wrote on her blog Wednesday. "Can't get this Memphis story out of my head. This should NOT be trendy!"

Kardashian thinks the sudden "celebrity status" of former Teen Mom stars, such as Amber Portwood, are sending these kids the wrong message.

"It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!"

The reality star, 30, says she's simply blown away by the laid back attitude certain teenagers seem to have when it comes to having a baby.

"When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head," she wrote. "Having a baby is one of the biggest and most life-changing decisions a person can make and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do."

Kardashian concluded her passionate post with a plea to her young fans: "Girls, please, think very carefully before you make these kind of decisions. Talk to your family, friends, teachers, and most of all, be careful."

The reality star seems to have her mind made up about the show -- and she's certainly offering valuable advice to young girls. But a recent study actually proved that Teen Mom may be a pregnancy deterrent to young girls, as it shows how difficult raising a baby can be.

Beyoncé never really seems to slow down, so when the time came to choose a director for her concert special DVD "I Am ... World Tour," the singer decided to take on those duties too. It's an accomplishment the singer jokes may have sparked those pregnancy rumors.

"I was pregnant with this DVD, yes!" she joked to MTV News.

The DVD hits stores on November 30, but fans can catch the 90-minute "I Am ... World Tour" TV special when it airs on ABC Thanksgiving night at 9:30 p.m. ET. Beyoncé opened up about what it was like to sit in the director's chair.

"Well, I've done some co-directing for music videos [but] this was definitely a big step for me, and I'm so thrilled," she said at the New York City screening for the flick.

Beyoncé said she was completely hands-on, deciding which moments made the final cut and which ones wound up on the cutting-room floor. "It was hard work," she said. "I learned so much. I have a new respect for directors and I think I would like to do more of it."

Her parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles, who also attended the screening over the weekend, said the film gives B the recognition she deserves after years of collaborating on many of her own videos.

"I'm really excited about this because Beyoncé has been making little short films and really helping to direct her videos," Tina told us. "So it's nice that she'll get credit for doing something that she really loves doing and that she's very talented at."

Dad Mathew recalled all of the effort his superstar daughter put into the special. "I'm so proud," he said. "I had an opportunity [to see the film], I've been to Houston with a screening; I've been to Bentonville, [Arkansas], with a screening, and to see the excitement from the audience, what an incredible job Beyoncé did as a director in the editing, I'm just so proud. Hopefully, all the fans go out and get the DVD and soundtrack and look at that ABC special coming on Thanksgiving."

"Basketball Wife" Tami Roman Goes In On Her Deadbeat Cheating Ex-Husband & Her Castmates

If you thought you heard the last of Tami Roman going off about her deadbeat ass ex-husband Kenny Anderson, think again.  She went on Richmond's iPower Richmond to talk more ish.  And now she's revealing just how many kids Kenny had outside their marriage, his brokeness, and how she got back on good terms with castmate Jennifer Williams.

Read on for Tami's dish....

This ish is just geting worse and worse.  So now, Tami Roman has revealed that her ex-husband Kenny Anderson hasn't paid her child support in a long while, despite his professional basketball player salary he once had, and that he had a few kids outside of their marriage.  Here's some highlights straight from Ms. Torrez of Tami talking about all that drama, her new job, plus the drama with the other girls on the show:

  • Tami says she decided to do "Basketball Wives" because she wanted to share her story because after watching the first season, she didn't think her life/journey of being a basketball wife wasn't really represented.
  • Once divorced from Kenny Anderson, Tami said she had to go on government assistance to provide for her children.
  • Kenny Anderson had not seen his two daughters with her in 10 years. Since the show aired, she says her daughters have spent time with their father but there are still communication issues that need to be solved.
  • She said she's just like everybody else and has her "moments" on the show. She said she went off on the show because behind the scenes it was brought to her that people were making jokes about her being on food stamps.
  • Tami says she and Jennifer Williams have talked their differences out and they can now be cordial to one another.
  • She said she was never bitter about the prenup because she was in love with Kenny and never thought they would be divorced. But she IS bitter about the way their marriage played out and that he didn't do the right thing after their divorce.
  • She said during her 6 year marriage with Kenny Anderson he had TWO children while they were married with his mistress.
  • She said she doesn't reach out to the other baby mothers except for DJ Spinderella (from Salt-N-Pepa) because most of the other women came about while they were married. Spinderella was with Kenny before Tami and Kenny were married.
  • She says she doesn't know if Kenny Anderson is actually broke but she knows he doesn't pay her child support.
  • She works at a finance firm now and she can provide for her daughters. She also said she's in the process of writing a book.

Lil Wayne Producer Bangladesh Plans Future Collaborations With Ke$ha

'It gives her a whole new look and it shows how creative I am,' Grammy-nominated producer says of Cannibal singer.

Producer Bangladesh's biggest break came when he powered Lil Wayne's "A Milli." Then he upped the ante on Weezy's recent release "6 Foot 7 Foot." So, what does the Grammy-nominated beatsmith have in store for the new year? More of the same, actually.

Bangladesh hopes to continue his genre-bending ways, whether it's lending rock-leaning sensibilities to Lil Wayne or injecting a pop star's work with edgy hip-hop drums. He and Dr. Luke (Britney Spears, Pink, Katy Perry) recently worked together on Ke$ha's "Sleazy," from her Cannibal LP.

"I met Luke through a mutual friend, so it was like me walking into a stranger's house," Bangladesh told MTV News. "I really didn't know what to expect. But it was all love. It was kind of like the roles were reversed, like I was the biggest producer and he just had a couple of hits. Once I saw how he felt about me, I was like man, I might be the truth. [He laughs.]"

After hitting it off, they joined forces for "Sleazy," the first of many collaborations Bangladesh is shooting for with the "Tik Tok" star.

"That's a good look, because it gives her a whole new look and it shows how creative I am," he explained. "It shows how music is changing. And it shows that I'm kind of the changer behind it. The leader. I'm trying to mix the different genres where it's still convincing, like, I believe them doing this."
