All right, Taylor Lautner fans: Today is the day you've been waiting for! The actor's action-packed thriller "Abduction" has officially opened. Here at MTV News, we've been as excited as anyone for the 19-year-old's first post-"Twilight" lead role, and we've been following the film since it was announced.

Take a look through our hand-crafted guide to the John Singleton-directed film, as we present everything you need to know about "Abduction":

A New Action Star Is Born
The buzz around the film began way back in February 2010, when Lionsgate Entertainment announced that Lautner would be starring in a film about a young man who sets out to learn who he really is after finding his baby picture posted on a missing-persons website. Shortly thereafter, a slew of name players were added to the cast, including Lily Collins, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello and Alfred Molina.

Just before production began in Pittsburgh, MTV News caught up with Lautner to learn about the intense training and prep work he was doing for the role, which included boxing, fight training, learning to ride a motorcycle and swimming.

Selling His Strengths
Once production wrapped, the promotion machine ramped up and we got our first look at photos of Lautner on set, in character and in action.

One of our best pre-release moments came back in April when we were very lucky to snag an early look at the first official trailer, as well as an exclusive sit-down with Lautner during "MTV First: Taylor Lautner." We heard trailer commentary straight from the source, as well as the challenges he faced during filming, his kissing scenes with Collins and whether he got any bumps or bruises from all the stunt work.

Skills to Pay the Bills
It was not long before we caught up with Lautner again in San Diego, during our Comic-Con Takeover, where we learned which seasoned Hollywood pros Lautner looked to for inspiration during filming, why Lautner was so committed to the role and how the film is different from other action thrillers out there.

With about a month left before opening day, we got our first look at Lautner's stunt work, and then we gleaned a few steamy details about a certain kissing scene from Lautner's leading lady in the film. Collins also revealed key details about her character, Karen, and how she gets pulled into the cat-and-mouse chase with Lautner's character, Nathan.

When we caught up with the entire cast at the film's premiere, we learned that kissing scenes are as challenging as action scenes, the young actors carried their acting weight as much as the seasoned pros, and everyone had a blast making the film. Oh and that Lautner always makes time for his fans.

Check out everything we've got on "Abduction."

Drake Wishes Justin Bieber Kept 'Trust Issues' Unedited

'That would've been so G, if he would've done all the swearing,' Drake tells MTV News of Bieber's remix.

LOS ANGELES — When Justin Bieber dropped his remix of Drake's "Trust Issues" over the weekend, many wondered whether the 17-year-old pop star would keep the lyrics intact and throw out F-bombs and the track's other profanities. The baby-faced singer most certainly did not, trading Drake's "F--- it, I'm on one" line for "You know I'm on one."

"I wish he would've left all the cuss words in it. I feel like that would've been so G, if he would've done all the swearing," Drake told MTV News from Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV release party on Sunday. "I was excited when I heard he remixed it, because there was like a gang of swearing in that song. I was like, 'Oh, we're about to hear the transformation of Bieber.' "

Despite its sweet and serene melody, the lyrics to Drizzy's "Trust Issues" are quite filthy at times. As the YMCMB soldier sings about contempt for manipulative woman, he belts out, "You know what I'm sippin'/ I teach you how to mix it/ But you're the only one, 'cause I don't trust these bitches."

On his version, Bieber doesn't condone drinking nor does he refer to the song's subjects as bitches. Instead, the Biebs tweaks the line and sings, "You just need to listen/ Teach you how to fix it/ 'Cause you're the only one, because I don't trust these women."

JB, however, did keep Drake's dirty original rap verse on his version of the song.

All in all, Drake was pretty excited about the remake. "He's like a talented kid ... from Canada, so to hear him even remix that song is crazy," he said. "That's incredible."

Would you have liked to hear Bieber leave the profanity in his "Trust Issues," or did he make the right call? Let us know in the comments!

Just after news hit that Justin Bieber had been involved in a minor car accident, the teen pop star, his manager and his producer began releasing details about his forthcoming Christmas album, including a possible Taylor Swift collaboration.

In a Twitter conversation with his manager, Scooter Braun, the pair revealed more info about the album, even sharing that it won't contain the holiday standards fans might expect. "This Christmas album is amazing. Might be the best album yet," Scooter Braun wrote on the social networking site. "All originals ... soon 2 b classics. every1 i play it 4 is blown away. #excited."

The 17-year-old superstar then shared, "@scooterbraun yeah we are going hard for Christmas!! #mistletoe." He later revealed that he had been recording tracks with some of his pals. "Had a great studio session with my big bro @seankingston and the talented @jonathanrotem #GOODMUSIC."

Producer Kuk Harrell (Rihanna, Katy Perry) has also been tweeting about hitting the studio with the singer and revealed another collaboration. "Wow!! Got to see @justinbieber & @taylorswift13 write a song together last night!!" he shared last week. "SMASH!!!! SMASH!!! SMASH!!! Let's do it again y'all!!!" Bieber hit the stage with Swift during one of her shows in Los Angeles last week.

Perhaps as a hint of what is to come, Bieber also retweeted a message from Braun in which Braun said, "Goin 2 bed listening 2 this new xmas album bieber is coming with. really #classic. original xmas tunes that r legit hit records. #greatmusic."

Bieber has been working hard on new music, both holiday-themed and other. When MTV News caught up with him earlier this summer, he wanted his fans to know that anything is possible on his next album. "[I'm] writing about how I feel and producing. I've been producing on my laptop and on my computer," he said. "I've been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge."

He added, "I've done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it's gonna have that vibe," he explained. "I'm not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre — I mean, I know there's country music, there's rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music."

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy Dine With Kate Moss, Then Brunch With Bingham

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy were together in London last night for a late one at the restaurant 45 Park Lane, where they grabbed a bite with Kate Moss and Topshop boss Philip Green. The two Kates, who also partied together last week at Stella McCartney's 40th birthday bash, seem to be good pals, and Moss's own rock-star significant other, Jamie Hince, joined in on the meal. Despite the evening out on the town, Kate and Matt were up and at 'em this morning, taking their young son, Bingham, along to breakfast at a North London cafe. Kate and Matt have been in his home country of England for the last month, so they can introduce Bingham to his Bellamy relatives. Their European location also allowed Matt and his band Muse to wrap up a Summer tour as well as freeing him and Kate to vacation in the South of France with Bingham and his big brother, Ryder.

Sarah Michelle Gellar?s Ringer Is Must See TV!

There are some new fall shows that you just know from the get go are going to be amazing. The new CW show Ringer starring Sarah Michelle Gellar was not one of those shows. However if you have watched you know it rocks and is must see TV. When I first heard about Ringer I admit I was a little on the fence about whether or not I was going to tune in to it. I like Sarah Michelle Gellar and all but there was something about it that just didn?t make me jump at wanting to watch it. Thankfully The CW debuted it last Tuesday when literally nothing was on so I checked it out and boy am I glad I did. Only two episodes into the season and I am beyond addicted. Gellar is amazing, which is no big surprise, in the dual role and it is great to see her back on the small screen. She plays twins who couldn?t be more different and who each have many dark secrets. The show has already had so many twists and turns that I literally cannot wait for the next episode. I will admit that while watching the premiere [...]
